We source our cocoa powder from several of the world’s largest and finest cocoa processors. All of our suppliers have shown their dedication to eliminating the use of forced child labor through their commitment to the organizations listed below and by providing sustainably raised cocoa products. Our suppliers belong to and/or subscribe to the standards of some or all of the following organizations:

• International Cocoa Initiative (ICI)
• International Labor Organization (ILO)
• World Cocoa Foundation’s (WCF) African Cocoa Initiative (ACI)
• The Bill & Melinda Gates Foundation
• US Agency for International Development (USAID)

Although our cocoa is Fair Trade compliant, it is not certified Fair Trade since it would substantially raise the cost of the product. At NOW, we are committed to offering the highest quality products at reasonable prices and we feel that our cocoa is among the best available.

NOW's Ultimate Hot Cocoa:

2 tsp cane sugar or NOW Real Food^® Organic Monk Fruit (with Erythritol) 1:1 Sugar Replacement
1 tsp NOW^® Real Food Organic Cocoa Powder
1 cup organic milk or coconut milk or oat milk
1/4 tsp organic vanilla extract

Directions:

1. Place milk, sugar, and cocoa into a pot on medium heat.
2. Allow for mixture to reach a soft boil and whisk until cocoa dissolves.
3. Whisk in vanilla extract.
4. Remove from heat, allow to slightly cool in your favorite mug and enjoy!
